High End Vs Drugstore | 2014 Blogger Challenge

Hello beautiful people! I haven’t been active in the blogosphere in quite a while, it seems! I’ve just been a bit down in the dumps so I haven’t had much motivation to do anything really. 😦 However, I would like to really start trying to do the things I love again, including blogging and I’m going to start with Topic 4 of the 2014 Blogger Challenge, which is Highstreet (Drugstore) Vs High End.

If it’s not apparent from the products I use and post about on here, I don’t really own any high ends products besides some eye shadow palettes and primers that were given to me by my mom (which I love, by the way). In my opinion, drugstore brands have some extremely good products on the market, especially foundations from Rimmel, powders from Neutrogena, lip products from Maybelline and many other brands and items are wonderful as well. As many of the other bloggers are doing, I decided to do a kind of wish list for all of the high end products I’d loveee to get my hands on, from make up to skin care.

Oribe

Now, Oribe products are pretty expensive, but I’ve heard sooo many great things about this brand that 

I’d love to try any one of their products.

Gucci Guilty

I recently bought the latest Teen Vogue issue featuring Lea Michele on the cover and inside was one of thoseflappy perfume page samplers of Gucci Guilty for women and I’m obsessed!

Philosophy Hope in a Jar

I was scouring the ULTA website because there’s an ULTA by my house which I plan on going to this week and came across this moisturizer which I spotted years ago and I’d love to finally give this a go.

Now, we’ve all heard how amazing this primer is and seeing as my pores are (unfortunately) massive around my nose, I think it would do wonders for me as well.

Benefit Erase Paste 

I know this is an old favorite of the wonderful Zoella’s and I think this would be a good high end 

concealer for me to start with.

NARS Sheer Glow in Stromboli

Again, another favorite of Zoella and many other beauty bloggers!

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 in Warm Natural

My friend Nicole had this foundation a few years ago and I tried it and loved it! I’ve been wanting it for absolutely ages.

NARS Blush in Outlaw

We all know about Nars Orgasm and Deep Throat, but I don’t think those blushes would suit me, but I love this color!

Benefit High Beam

Another cult classic!

Urban Decay Primer Potion

I haven’t tried any primers besides a Shiseido one my mom gave me (which I think was actually just a face primer lol) and I’d love to try this one.

Smashbox Full Exposure Palette

All the beauty gurus are raving about this palette currently! The Urban Decay Naked palettes are also items I’ve got my eye on, but I’d really like to try this first.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara

I have very short lashes, but I’m hoping this will help me out with that. 😛

NARS Semi Matte Lipstick in BLKR

Beautiful color!

YSL Rouge Pur Matte in Rouge Rock

I’ve heard amazing things about the YSL lipsticks and who can resist the packaging!

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine

I want to try any one of the colors from this range (hopefully some time soon!). Again, the packaging is beautiful!
